East Zone Frisbee Tournament 2009 ((:

Yet another year have passed. Time seems to pass so fast whenever we look back. Its the 5th year that we have taken part in the East Zone Frisbee Tournament.

Every year, the results were wonderful, not only this year. Our P4 team emerged as 3rd in the category, and our P5 team emerged as champion this year ! Double gold for them. (If you remember, they were the champions last year too. ((:)

Even though I wasn’t there physically to witness all the matches, and get anxious with them (My soul was there! ), I know that the matches were tough. Especially for the P4, with opponents’ height much taller than them.

Nevertheless, I think that we have done a good job this year !

Teachers’ Day 2009 . 31Aug

Its quite happy to see so many of my friends on this date , many of us had not meet since last year’s teachers’ day. Also , no forgetting about my juniors whom have came back also, to meet the teachers.

Something personal

The title says everything .
Its something personal , but I still would like to mention it . ((:

"If I said I wasn't sad , I would be lieing. 5years since the first time I got to know about this sport. 5years since I known you. 3years after I left , but we still kept in contact. Its the sport which keeps the communication between us , and the whole gang . You said you are leaving too. How can I not feel anything ? 5years. If not for you , I would never know this sport , and never learn so much . Not to mention , without it , I would have never met so much fun and nice people. Its because of you , that I have known this sport . ((: Nevertheless , I will never forget those memories we share , and more memories to come even after you have left . Cause I know , we will form a team outside next time , and we will still continue to play . I will still continue to play eventhough those tuesdays afternoon will not be spent at the paradesquare , cause thats me. You saide "Wow! You are really doing it." Ok , let me tell you this , yes , I am really doing it. Without this sport , there wouldn't be me , eventhough I don't play well . ((: All the best , thankyou."

This year's tournament may be an end for BGPS Frisbee team, but we have had many memories. So , I guess its alright ? All the best , never give up on this sport, just like me . ((:

8June09 --- Holiday Training 1

Today is our first june holiday training ! ((:
There are alot of alumnis that came . 6 from the sec1 and 4 from the sec3 .

Training started out with some normal passings , followed by the diamond drill . Then , we had some briefing which then we were seperated into 4 groups . The pri4sec3 , pri5 , pri6 and sec1 . Then , it was followed by the possesion game , to warm ourself up for the real game to begin !

After which , we had our games , which each group had to play with 3 other groups , which meant that everyone had a chance to play with each other . As there was no time for the finals , we called it a day after each team had played with each other .

Nevertheless , all of us had lots of fun ! ((:

On the 30th May , the P6'09 team with Juliana and Mr Tan went to the Jurong Sports and Recreation Centre , and attended the SFS Youth Ultimate Challenge .

It was a very fun day , as we were competiting with teams , not of the same age as us , infact , they are those big and tall guys and girls from various secondar schools .

We had 4 games , against Raffles JC , Regent Sec , Commonwealth Sec and Snickers , which we had lost 3 , and only won the game against Snickers . It was a very fun game , and even though we did not win , we had gained alot of experience . After all , we were the youngest team there .

On the 5May , our 7th batch of new players came for training .
Yes , its the 7th batch .

Time flies , and after much hard work , our team have grown from a small team of few players .
To the big team today . ((:

The p4 team this year , seem to be faster than previous years .
I guess , its the trend that the players get better as the years past , isn't it ?

My Thoughts ! ((:

This is the second training for the new year . The 2 current crops of players are very fast in the game . I would describe it as "too fast too furious" .

The pace has become very fast. Everyone is furiously active supporting and passing ! That too , included the limping Nicole ! She displayed so much determination , that she asked to "quit" till I forcefully asked her to take a rest .

I am also happy , to see the seniors back ! (Clare , Shimin and Juliana) They must have missed the game in the school. It has been a long road for me . Its tiring , but seeing the players having played as a team together , the smile and laughter on their faces made it all worth while .

Its been a very long time since I have played , and I am rather rusty . :X
